Greetings on the occasion of Holy Week 2013!“After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And suddenly there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord, descending from Heaven, came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.” (Mt. 28:1-3)The sting of death was now gone as it became clear that Jesus the Christ had risen from the dead. I join you in celebrating the new life that comes with RESURRECTION GLORY as we celebrate this great occasion in the life of the Christian Church.
We are blessed to have a Savior in Jesus Christ who loves us even to the point of death on a cross. What a joy it is that the story did not stop at the grave. This Holy Week, I wish you wonderful worship, fervent fellowship and marvelous moments of reflection. May the grace of God bless you and all within your circle as the stone rolls away and GLORY is once again revealed. “All hail the power of Jesus’ name, let angels prostrate fall, bring forth the Royal Diadem and crown Him Lord of all, bring forth the Royal Diadem and crown Him Lord of all. ” (Edward Perronet, 1779). |
