Pray that moves the heart of God(Daniel 6:10)
1. Pray, distinguishing the real enemy(Satan)
(other premiers and provincial governors who envied Daniel)
When we live a family and community life, there is case that inconvenient relation
is formed with a certain person. In that situation, do not think of the person as an
enemy, and we must see the real enemy(Satan) who is behind the person. When
someone are involved in collision with other person, he who knees before God and
pray for fighting the real enemy receives God’s grace.
2. Pray, admiring loving God
(Daniel prayed, disobeying the King Dario’s decree of worship prohibition)
Faithfulness to higher officer is very important cardinal virtues, but we must stand
always to the party of the highest officer(God). If you pray, standing to God’s side in
the threat of death, God is going to become your side. If you devote the first hours
of the day to God in the threat of tiredness, God is going to care the total hours of
the day.
3. Pray, thinking church highly
(Daniel prayed with the window opened for Jerusalem)
God is delighted to the prayer of the person who admires highly the church in
which he himself is participating. “My Lord’s church is like the Kingdom of Heaven,
and God thinks the church like pupil and protect it always.”(Korean hymn 246) God
reacts rapidly on the person’s prayer who love church because He think the church
like pupil.
4. Eager prayer that has clear target
(Daniel kneed before God and prayed three times a day)
When we pray, we must have clear prayer target that is not objected to our faith
conscience. Importance of clear prayer target is because the prayer having clear
prayer target becomes the prayer that is not superficial. If we pray eagerly fitting in
God’s intention, God gives us even the things that we did not pray for.
5. Pray, thanking, believing the prayer will be responded
(Daniel finished his prayer in thanks always)
Thanks expressed by a person who prays is an indication of belief in which he
convinces God’s answer. Such prayer of belief and thanks seals lion’s mouth, and
pull down wicked person’s plan. Thanks is an indication of the greatest spirituality of
believers, and a basis that moves the mind of God.
