Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout.
So a Car’s WINDSHIELD is so large & the Rear view Mirror is so small? Because our PAST is not as important as our FUTURE. So, Look Ahead and Move on.

평신도용 십계명
기도는 문제에 닥쳤을 때 꺼내는 Spare Wheel(예비 타이어)이 아니라 처음부터 끝까지 옳은 방향으로 가도록 인도해 주는 Steering Wheel(운전대)이다.
차의 앞유리는 매우 크지만 백미러는 작은 이유는 우리의 과거는 미래만큼 중요하지 않기 때문이다. 앞을 보고 전진하라.
우정은 책과 같다. 불태우는 건 몇 초면 되지만, 쓰는 것은 몇 년이 걸린다.
인생의 모든 것은 일시적이다. 잘 될 때는, 즐겨라. 영원하지 않을 테니. 잘 안되면, 걱정 마라. 이것 역시 오래 가지 않을 테니.
옛 친구는 금이다! 새 친구는 다이아몬드다! 다이아몬드를 얻었으면, 금을 잊지 마라. 왜냐면 다이아몬드를 끼워 넣으려면 금반지가 필요하니까.
우리가 종종 절망하고 끝(END)이라고 생각할 때, 하나님께서 위에서 미소를 지으며 말씀하신다. “얘야 괜찮아. 이건 끝(END)이 아니라 굽은 것(BEND)일 뿐이야.”
하나님이 당신의 문제를 해결해 주시면, 당신은 그분의 능력을 믿는다. 하나님이 당신의 문제를 해결하지 않으실 때는, 그분이 당신의 능력을 믿는 것이다.
장님이 성 안토니에게 물었다. “시력(sight)을 잃는 것보다 더 나쁜 일이 있을까요?” 대답하길 “그럼요, 비전을 잃는 것이죠.”m
당신이 남을 위해 기도할 때, 하나님께서 당신의 기도를 듣고 그들을 축복하신다. 가끔, 당신이 안전하고 행복할 때에, 누군가 당신을 위해 기도를 해오고 있다는 것을 기억하라.
걱정은 내일의 문제를 없애는 것이 아니라 오늘의 평안을 없앨 뿐이다.
